You read it right. PETA has written Ben & Jerry’s requesting that they want human breast milk instead of cow’s milk in the their ice cream.  Women, line up.  Make some money and produce breast milk for dairy products.   Hmmmm…. 

“The move follows a decison by a Swiss restaurant owner to introduce soup, stews and sauces which contain at least 75 percent breast milk and he is calling women to become donors.”*

How do you qualify the women providing breast milk?  Some may be carrying diseases.  Some may be drug addicts.  Do you care whose breast milk you are consuming. 

Yes, breast milk as a whole is full of wonderful nutrients.  But - isn’t this going a bit far?  PETA wants to reduce the suffering of dairy cows.   As I recall, I did not really like being so heavy breasted with milk.  Does that qualify as suffering?

Okay, who wants to see human breast milk in their ice cream?
