little girl with coke on beach

This is a site for sore eyes.  Look at this adorable little girl walking on the beaching clutching her big bottle of Coke.  Shouldn’t she be clutching a pail with a shovel or a bottle of water? Instead, she is owning this soda – its mine.  (Check the body language). This darling girl was born wholesome and healthy with her whole life before her.  Someone is tampering with her future by giving her a Coke.

Man-made Coke is pure acid, one of the best rust removers you can buy.  This is what this precious child is pouring down her throat.  It looks like she is carrying a regular Coke but it could be a Diet Coke … just can’t tell from this photo.  Either way, she is drinking an excessive amount of unnatural sugar, artificial dyes, sodium, caffeine, phosphoric and carbonic acid – all of which seriously over-stimulate and deplete everyone’s body much less one of a little girl.

In addition, sodas dehydrate the mind and body.  Now, remember, she in on the beach in a sun dress so the outdoor temperature has to be at least warm, if not hot. This little girl needs to be hydrated. Our body temperature is 98.6 degrees F.  Don’t you think that when you hold a bottle of soda against your body it is going to become warm, maybe as warm as your body?  Odds are this bottle of Coke is warm which presents additional unwanted consequences, especially if is sweetened with aspartame.  When aspartame is heated to 86 degrees Fahrenheit, it turns to formaldehyde and then formic acid (red ant sting juice). This opens the door for some real health challenges.

So, review what is going on in this photo.  A cute little girl is walking the beach on a warm sunny day, pressing her bottle of Coke against her body.  The person who took this photo witnessed her periodically drinking her beloved Coke.  She said, “Watching her was heart-breaking.”  It breaks my heart, too.  Please, be smarter than this family and give your kids spring water or Vitamin Waters to drink when you play at the beach – or during time of year.

Buy tall and medium height pasta jars, the glass ones with a metal lid, and fill each 3/4 full of water.  Put celery stalks in the tall one and carrot sticks in the shorter one.  Cucumber sticks can also be added.  Store them in the refrigerator.  Now you can cut a bunch of vegetable sticks at one time, put them in these water filled containers and have fresh, cold, crisp and inexpensive snacks available for your family 24/7!  My mother, and then I, floated them in bowls and they would not last nearly as long or look as good.  Using pasta jars is a super idea.  Yes, I stole it.  The credit goes to Jenny Knuth of Boulder Colorado as published by the Disney Family Fun magazine, August 2009 edition.  Thank you, Jenny!

Have some nut butters and other dips like hummus in the refrigerator so your kids will grab, dip and munch their snacks.

You thought antibiotics were given to turkeys and chickens just to keep them from getting sick or to make them well. NOT. The dirty little secret is that when a little bit is inserted into their feed, it will help them gain water weight. We have heard this can result into as much as a 15 percent increase. Thus, when you are buying poultry raised with antibiotics, you are paying for water weight in addition to the meat. This water weight which is added into the price, drains out while the meat is sitting in packaging and when it is cooked. Some of your hard-earned money literally drains and evaporates away … who needs that today? Antibiotics are used medicinally as well, but, also as a price increase trick.*

Be smarter than these companies and buy turkeys and chickens that are antibiotic-free. You’ll also be thwarting the evolution of superbugs that are evading the antibiotics. Turkeys, chickens and humans all need healthy immune systems. The ingestion and overuse of antibiotics work against this, as well as your budget. So stay away from them.
