It doesn’t take much soda to overdose on sugar in a day. On average, four ounces will do it. There about 6 teaspoons of sugar in an 8 oz. soda. A half cup has about 3 teaspoons. Kids should have about 2 teaspoons of sugar a day. Adults don’t need much more. When was the last time you saw a small 8 ounce container of soda? Kids, teens and adults drinks a lot more, a recipe for obesity, diabetes and depression. Drink ice cold water or diluted 100% fruit juice instead.

Teaser: RECIPE – Grilled Pizza
Buy a Pizza Stone (there are several sizes and shapes)
Heat grill to medium heat
Preheat stone until it is warm…not too hot
Spread pizza dough on stone (pre-made, home-made, pita breads – thin is best)
Pour desired sauce and toppings on top
Place stone with pizza on grill
Cook until dough is cooked with a bit crispy crust
Serve!
KEY: make this a social event among your family – kids can make their own. At parties put out an array of toppings so everyone can custom make pizzas they love. You can’t go wrong with this entertainment formula!
