Lunch Box – Guess the average time it takes to pack one!

We know that home packed lunch boxes can be so much healthier and delicious than school lunches. However, there is the moan and groan about the time it takes to pack one. USA Today* reports that the average time taken to pack a lunch per child in the am is 3-5 minutes.

Here is USA Today’s chart:
– Less than 1 minute: 9%
– 1-2 minutes:17%
- 3-5 minutes: 54%
– More than 5 minutes: 20%

I want to live in the house where more than 5 minutes is taken to pack my lunch. Suspect there would be less processed food and more fresh and tasty lunches.
