Dr. Bob Sears reminded us during his radio interview that at birth, a baby has millions of brain cells but many are not yet connected. During the first twenty-four months, one’s nerve branches form as connectors contributing to the completion of the entire nervous system. This explains the gradual progression of mental and physical functions. What you feed your baby during this time can make a healthy or unhealthy difference.

From birth to weaning, breast milk is best. If you can’t nurse then organic formulas containing lactose for sugar (not corn or rice syrup) are better choices. If you do buy conventional formulas add probiotics and some Omega 3 fatty acids, depending on the formula’s ingredients. Organic Formulas recommended by Dr. Bob: Earth’s Best, Bright Beginnings and Baby Organic. For more invaluable information buy his just released book, Happy Baby, the Guide to Baby’s First 24 Months.

If you have a son or daughter aged up to 24 months, we really recommend that your get his book – its loaded with invaluable information.

… for the health of your family,
