Creamed Tuna over Toast

PANS/EQUIPMENT: toaster, 2 small saucepans
PREP TIME: 5 minutes
COOK TIME: 5 minutes
NUMBER OF SERVINGS: 2
1 cup milk (2% organic cow’s milk, rice or almond milk)
Pour into pan. Heat gently until warm.
2 Tablespoons unsalted organic butter or Earth Balance Spread
Melt in separate pan.
2 Tablespoons flour, spelt or whole wheat
Stir into butter until smooth. Slowly pour warm milk into butter-flour mix. Stir until sauce in creamy.
2 slices bread, whole grain
Toast in toaster.
6 oz. can Tongol Tuna in Spring Water, No Salt Added (Tree of Life brand)
Drain. Stir into cream sauce.
2 pinches of sea salt
Stir into creamed tuna.
Parsley flakes, non-irradiated
Paprika, non-irradiated
Sprinkle desired amount on top. Serve with salad.
OPTIONS: Add peas or other vegetables of choice. Replace tuna with canned salmon.
