Shrimp Spelt Pasta

PREHEAT: 2 burners, medium heat
PANS/EQUIPMENT: large sauce pan, large frying pan
PREP TIME: 10 minutes
COOK TIME: 20 minutes
NUMBER OF SERVINGS: 6 (or more depending on ages)
Vita Spelt Whole Grain Angel Hair Pasta – 1 box
Bring 3 cups water to boil in sauce pan. Place pasta in water. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Strain water out.
1 pound shrimp, deveined, shelled
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
Dash hot sauce
Salt to taste
Place all above ingredients in large frying pan. Stir while cooking until shrimp is completely pink. May need to add more lemon juice to keep shrimp moist. Add pasta and stir until totally integrated into shrimp mixture.
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Sprinkle on top of shrimp pasta. Serve warm.
OPTIONS: Add 1 Tablespoon parsley flakes
