Very lightly spread raw honey onto a whole grain hot dog bun or sub roll. Then layer slices of Granny Smith apples and mozzarella cheese on it. Place top of ice pack in lunch box.
It’s still a great time to serve watermelon so scoop out some in the shape of balls. Use a measuring teaspoon if you don’t have a melon-baller. Add some carrot and pretzel sticks. This should keep them full until the school day ends.
